Thank you so much for the DVD you sent. We watched it last night and loved it! Rob was soooo impressed and really glad we had this made (considering how much he really didn’t want it done)!
Rob & Michelle got married in August at Styal Lodge in Styal. Situated right next door to the Golf Club. The building has recently been renovated to a very high standard and carries a civil wedding licence to allow marriages on the premises.
The weather was warm which made the fresh ice cream, cold beers and chilled wine the perfect indulgence.
No wedding car was required as Michelle and her bridesmaids were able to get ready the the Lodge itself – the onsite catering is superb.
Thank you very much for our wedding DVDs.
Thank you also for producing such a great film. It seems like such a long time ago now so it’s nice to have something to watch. Rob was very reluctant to have it done but he’s so pleased with it now and so glad that I persuaded him to go for it. We would highly recommend you.
Michelle & Rob
The DVD is great.
Keith & Lorraine’s wedding was filmed in October and what superb weather they had – goes to show that in the UK you cannot predict the best time to get maried in order to have nice weather. The month to avoid though is November as on record it usually does rain a lot.
The service was held at all saints church ib Cheadle Hulme, followed by the reception at the Village Hotel in Cheadle.
The car company was Horgans Cars and the photographer is a friend of Lorraine’s.
This wedding was forwarded and recommended to me by Terry & Hayley whose wedding is featured in an earlier post. Hayley did the hair and makeup for Lorraine and the Bridesmaids.
We’ve got the dvd’s and love the work you’ve done it’s amazing.
Tim & Kelly’s big day was filmed over in Nottingham. The service was at St Pauls in Carlton then across town to the Walled Gardens at Beeston Fields.
Tim & Kelly arrive along the tree lined driveway that passes the golf club.
The weather was a scorcher and perfect for the marquee in the Walled Gardens at Beeston Fields.
For the evening there was a superb band followed by dancng and a casino with roulette table.
Just wanted to say we got the dvd and we’ve already watched it a few times. Thank you so much, I’m so so happy with it and I think its the best money we spent! Only wish I realised how great it would be and had you stay on for longer.
Alex & Andrea’s wedding was filmed at the Greek church St Nicholas in Liverpool followed by a reception at the Hilton Hotel, opposite Albert Docks.
The day started around 9am with filming the outside of the church, then onto the Hilton Hotel to film the hair and makeup shots, followed by a little Greek tradition of the red tie.
Then back to the church to set up for the service and capture everyone arriving. Most of the guests arrived on a big old red London bus. Andrea arrived in style with her mum and dad in a nice silver mercedes.
The Greek priest was really accomodating and gave myself a nice angle to film from. On the day my friend Paul also came to man the second camera. After the service it was outside for confetti and group shots, then back to the Hilton for drinks, dinner and dancing. Filming concluded around 10pm.
I Appreciate all your hard work and dilligence, it’s been much appreciated. If you ever need a reference I’d be very happy to be quoted.
Marlyn Pictures has recently acquired a camera crane to capture those dramatic ground to air level shots. This kit can also be used to capture various other types of shots with a little imagination.
Another amazing gadget we recently purchased is the Glidetrack system which allows us to capture a moving track shot with a one metre length, from either ground level or positioned on our manfrotto tripods at up to 6 feet.
More information and footage to follow in an updated posts in the coming months.
We absolutely love the DVD. It’s incredible. It perfectly captures our wedding, Thank You
Ik and Karen’s wedding reception took place in the recently refurbished Gorton Monastery. Prior to this the wedding service was held at All Saints Church near Sale.
The weather wasnt too great but what a great day, For the first dance both Karen & Ik changed into the National Nigerian outfits.
Rain to the Aftican nation is a blessing, so the weather wasnt an issue. As most of my weddings are filmed in the Uk, im very used to the British weather.
The events company organising the big day was Traccy Lavin events www.tracylavinevents.co.uk
All stills are taken from the actual video footage
A State of Heart is almost complete, longer than expected due to other commerical work commitments. Im hoping for a release date in October 2013.
Below is a copy of the DVD cover.
THE FILM IS BRILLIANT – THANK YOU.
What a great day this was, good weather during the day with a llitlle down pour in the evening. The service was at the Methodist Church in Bramhall, followed by the Gold Suite at the Deanwater near Woodford, Cheshire.
Horgans Cars provided transport.
Hair and makeup shots were filmed in the morning, then it was off to the church (Bramhall Methodist) to film the service, then back to The Deanwater Hotel for drinks reception and Bride & Groom pics.
The food as usual at The Deanwater is always fantatstic and Barry and his team provide an excellent service.
Julie now offers a bouquet service – visit the website www.uniquebouquets.co.uk
The DVD is excellent, thanks for making our day so Special. We would highly recommend you as with the work you do you dont need a photographer – Terry
Thanks for the DVD’s. They are excellent. We are still getting rave reviews for your video. Once again thanks for producing a great video – Craig (Hayley’s Dad)
The church was Norbury and St Thomas in Hazel Grove with the reception at the village in Cheadle.
We had a few drops of rain and the rest of the day was briliant sunshine. Mode of transport on the day was Horgans Cars and a big red old fashioned London bus for the guests.
The wedding photograhy was done by Silver Image Photography in Cheadle Heath
