Just wanted to say we got the dvd and we’ve already watched it a few times. Thank you so much, I’m so so happy with it and I think its the best money we spent! Only wish I realised how great it would be and had you stay on for longer.
Alex & Andrea’s wedding was filmed at the Greek church St Nicholas in Liverpool followed by a reception at the Hilton Hotel, opposite Albert Docks.
The day started around 9am with filming the outside of the church, then onto the Hilton Hotel to film the hair and makeup shots, followed by a little Greek tradition of the red tie.
Then back to the church to set up for the service and capture everyone arriving. Most of the guests arrived on a big old red London bus. Andrea arrived in style with her mum and dad in a nice silver mercedes.
The Greek priest was really accomodating and gave myself a nice angle to film from. On the day my friend Paul also came to man the second camera. After the service it was outside for confetti and group shots, then back to the Hilton for drinks, dinner and dancing. Filming concluded around 10pm.
I Appreciate all your hard work and dilligence, it’s been much appreciated. If you ever need a reference I’d be very happy to be quoted.
We absolutely love the DVD. It’s incredible. It perfectly captures our wedding, Thank You
Ik and Karen’s wedding reception took place in the recently refurbished Gorton Monastery. Prior to this the wedding service was held at All Saints Church near Sale.
The weather wasnt too great but what a great day, For the first dance both Karen & Ik changed into the National Nigerian outfits.
Rain to the Aftican nation is a blessing, so the weather wasnt an issue. As most of my weddings are filmed in the Uk, im very used to the British weather.
The events company organising the big day was Traccy Lavin events www.tracylavinevents.co.uk
All stills are taken from the actual video footage
THE FILM IS BRILLIANT – THANK YOU.
What a great day this was, good weather during the day with a llitlle down pour in the evening. The service was at the Methodist Church in Bramhall, followed by the Gold Suite at the Deanwater near Woodford, Cheshire.
Horgans Cars provided transport.
Hair and makeup shots were filmed in the morning, then it was off to the church (Bramhall Methodist) to film the service, then back to The Deanwater Hotel for drinks reception and Bride & Groom pics.
The food as usual at The Deanwater is always fantatstic and Barry and his team provide an excellent service.
Julie now offers a bouquet service – visit the website www.uniquebouquets.co.uk
The DVD is excellent, thanks for making our day so Special. We would highly recommend you as with the work you do you dont need a photographer – Terry
Thanks for the DVD’s. They are excellent. We are still getting rave reviews for your video. Once again thanks for producing a great video – Craig (Hayley’s Dad)
The church was Norbury and St Thomas in Hazel Grove with the reception at the village in Cheadle.
We had a few drops of rain and the rest of the day was briliant sunshine. Mode of transport on the day was Horgans Cars and a big red old fashioned London bus for the guests.
The wedding photograhy was done by Silver Image Photography in Cheadle Heath
” Thankyou for doing our video for us. We both had a fantastic day and the video really reflects what a great day it was. We LOVE it” !
The weather was great and the setting for the service is the beautiful church at Marton, Cheshire (a34 between Alderley Edge and Congleton). An owl delivered the rings in the service. Afterwards it was outside for confetti and a surprise for Leanne in the form of two horses and a carriage.
The reception was held down the road at Sandhole Barn.
For the evening reception Mark and Leanne gracefully moved around the dance floor for their first dance followed by a quick change of dress for Leanne and a very fast Salsa number for the second dance.
We had to write to you to say how overwhelmed we are with Leanne Mark’s Wedding DVD. You have captured the day perfectly, its likebeing there all over again – absolute delight. The quality is second to none. So often you can’t hear the vows or the speeches clearly, but thats not a problem at all with your DVD. Everybody who has seen it has said ‘WOW’. You have got everything on it and more. We can’t thank you enough for all your obvious hard work and professionalism. We shall treasure this lasting memory of our daughter’s wedding day for a very longtime to come.
Thank you so much – Debbie & Paul Taylor (Leanne’s Mum & Dad)”
“We got the DVD and it is absolutely brilliant, thank you so much! “
The weather has gone from beautiful sunshine to the usual British weather of being overcast with rain.
Timothy and Claire’s wedding service took place at the St James’ church in Gawsworth followed by Heaton House Farm near Rushton Spencer.

The photographers on the day were David and Suzanne Moore.

“The video is great thank you, you are definitely a master of your craft!!”
From February to April and the weather is beautiful, the sun shining. Farington Lodge is the setting for Barry & Stacey’s big day, a superb AA four star Grade II listed Georgian house set in three acres of mature lawns and gardens, blends lavish period splendour and a fascinating history with the very best contemporary luxury.
At the other extreme to the weather, Dave the Photographer at Silver Image had to come from Buxton, the setting for my last wedding, yet this time he had been snowed in for a few days prior – after digging himself out and using a Land Rover instead of his suped up Mondeo he was able to make it to Farington Lodge. You couldnt compare the two weather conditions, six foot snow drifts to beautfful blue skies and the sun on your face.
The service and dinner all took place at the venue, speeches were before dinner so that the speakers were able to sit and enjoy their meal. I concluded filming just after the speeches along with Dave from Silver Image Photography.

In February 2012 hoping that the bad weather didnt bring heavy snow to the beautiful Peak District town of Buxton. I set off to film the wedding (civil partnership) of Victoria
“Flo” and Ciara.
The weather on the 25th February was crisp, cold with a beautiful blue sky, the kind of weather minus the cold temperature that most people would love on their big day between the months of May to September- After all this is the UK and you cant guarantee or book the weather.
The day was superb, the service was excellent and conducted by Ann Needham.
The Photography on the day was provided by High Peak photography and the dvd by myself, Mark at Marlyn Pictures. All the images in this blog are taken from the DVD.
