“We are really happy with the film”
I filmed Andrew & Charlotte’s wedding in Massignac at La Domaine Des Etangs in the Limousine area of France. This venie is in the process of being completely revamped.
The weather started off a little overcast with some slight drizzle. Once i had completed the hair and makeup shots at Charlotte’s parents house and arrived at the venue, the sun was shining with a slight breeze.
Andrew and guests turned up for drinks and then proceeded to the rear of the venue where the lake was for the service.
Charlotte arrived in an immaculate vintage Citreon with her Dad.
After the service it was back to the front of the venue for drinks and canopies whilst a musician with his guitar played on and all the necessary photos were taken.
A selection of photographs of Andrew & Charlotte were taken before dinner was served.
Thank you so much for the video, it is absolutely amazing and we felt like we were there again! Very emotional, even Mark was crying! Thanks for all your hardwork, absolutely worth it, we are so grateful.Carla & Mark
I filmed Carla & Mark’s wedding just before Xmas 2013. The service took place at St Marys Church in Cheadle and then onto The Deanwater (Balmoral Suite) just on the outskirts of Woodford, Cheshire. The weather was dry with that crisp winter feel.
Carols (Hymns) were sang in the church giving it a nice festive feel. Santa turned up for the kids after dinner as well as a couple of Reindeers.
After the first official three dances The Coolers Band played a set for 45 mins until the buffet was served. All stills are taken from the actual wedding film.
Mark & Sarah’s wedding took place at The Plough Inn, Eaton just outside of Congleton back in January. We had great weather on the day and the guests were brilliant.
The wedding service took place in the historic Barn at The Plough as the Inn is licensed to hold Civil Ceremony’s and offered the perfect setting for the big day.
This superb comment from Mark & Sarah was posted on my facebook page: If there’s one thing you need to have at your wedding, it has to be Mark of Marlyn Pictures. My wife and I have just watched our wedding video and cannot stop watching it. I would have no hesitation recommending Mark to capture one of the most important days of your life!! Thank you Mark!
Thank you Mark for a fantastic job, it is clear when speaking with you that you have so much passion with what you do. You and your team are so accommodating and willing to go the extra mile. You have a very professional attitude with everything you do and will not settle for second best. Thank you for providing us with memories that will last forever. Peter & Rachel
Peter & Rachel’s big day started with hair and makeup shots at the Last Drop Village on the outskirts of Bolton along with a Chinese Tea Ceremony with Rachel’s Parents. Peter arrived with the lads to collect Rachel and have some games prior to photographs and (as with most chinese weddings) then escorted her to Bolton Parish Church for their wedding ceremony.
After the service it was onto Peter’s Parents for the Chinese Tea Ceremony and exchange of gifts.
The venue for the meal was the Glamorous Chinese Restaurant in Manchester.
We have just finished watching the DVD and it was absolutely fantastic.
Thanks for everything, you can count on our recommendation.
The day started overcast with a bit of rain in the air. The wedding all took place
at Shrigley Hall with a civil service.
Lindsay arrived with the bridesmaids from the hairdressers but no makeup shots were filmed as requested. Leon and the guys turned up with Leon’s Mum and Dad for a quick photo shoot. The quartet could be heard playing in the background.
The Bridemaids and Mum had their photos taken at the top of the stairs before Lindsay and her dad arrived to have a quick chat with the registrars and a couple of photosprior to walking down the Aisle.
The service was filmed on two cameras from the front, one wide and one close to allow various angles. Additional radio mics and a recording device were used to capture both the service dialogue and the quartet sound.
Mike Allen did the photography www.mikeallenphotography.co.uk and Horgans cars provided the transport. After the service came the confetti shot and then Leon & Lindsay had a run in the wedding car with champagne. The British weather kept on being its usual self with a light drizzle bit it didnt stop me and mike getting some great shots.
After dinner and speeches it was time for the official cake cutting followed by the first dance.

Thank you for the DVD’s they were a lovely suprise for when we came back from holiday today. Love it!. I really like the images that you have included on the actual DVD’s themselves. We are both really pleased. Especially like the black and white closing/recap piece at the end.
The service took place at Smallwood Church in Cheshire, followed by the reception at a Marquee in the field opposite Michael & Victoria’s house.
The day started with the hair and makeup shots at Victoria’s (Tori) parents and then onto the church awaiting Michael and the guests arriving. The vicar at the Church was great, really accomodating and he also runs Astley church. The service was filmed from the rear of the church on two cameras, one wide and one close with radio mics in place to capture a good quality soundtrack. Filming at the back of the church is really unobtrusive as the couple and guests hardly notice your there.
Once the service was over and the confetti thrown it was then onto the reception for the drinks reception. There was also an ice cream cart and canopies providing guests with light refreshments as the sun shined.
As the photographs were taken, a quartet played classical and modern tracks.
After dinner there were singing waiters, a few more photographs and the first dance.
All images are taken from the actual video footage.
Thank you for the dvd of Natalie and Craigs wedding, it was absolutely fantastic we all loved it.
My favourite is the end when its in black and white and seeing my grandson Jake run to Natalie brought tears to my eyes, Thanks for a beautiful fantastic wedding film.
The wedding service took place at St Johns Church in Ashton Under Lyne and the reception was held at Ashton Curzon football club. Hair and make up shots with Natalie & the Girls were taken at the Village Hotel, Ashton Moss.
Thank you for such professional service. Sue (Mum of the Bride)
Horgans Cars provided the wedding transport on the day.
We have received and watched the wedidng dvd – it’s fantastic! thank you so much!
The Service took place at St Johns Catholic Church in Chorlton. It was a nice day, bright to begin with, going slightly overcast later. The wedding reception was held at the Lymm Hotel just outside of Lymm.
The photographer on the day was Keith Goodwin with Horgans Cars providing transport.
Thank you so much for the DVD you sent. We watched it last night and loved it! Rob was soooo impressed and really glad we had this made (considering how much he really didn’t want it done)!
Rob & Michelle got married in August at Styal Lodge in Styal. Situated right next door to the Golf Club. The building has recently been renovated to a very high standard and carries a civil wedding licence to allow marriages on the premises.
The weather was warm which made the fresh ice cream, cold beers and chilled wine the perfect indulgence.
No wedding car was required as Michelle and her bridesmaids were able to get ready the the Lodge itself – the onsite catering is superb.
Thank you very much for our wedding DVDs.
Thank you also for producing such a great film. It seems like such a long time ago now so it’s nice to have something to watch. Rob was very reluctant to have it done but he’s so pleased with it now and so glad that I persuaded him to go for it. We would highly recommend you.
